2014 Ranking of a recommended view spot in Japan
Tripadvisor released the ranking of the recommended view spot in Japan. It is a spot which those who have actually carried out regard as good.
Kiyomizu-dera of the 1st place is a historic temple that was established in 778. The most famous place of the temple is Kiyomizu Stage, which is the veranda of the Main Hall extended over a precipice.
The Okurayama Ski Jump of the 2nd place was the stage for the 90 meter jump (currently referred to as “large hill”) competition at the 1972 Winter Olympics held in Sapporo. A five-minute ride on the ski lift brings you to the top of the mountain, during which time you can catch a glimpse of what it’s like to be a ski jumper.
Tokyo Tower of the 3rd place is a communications and observation tower located in the Shiba-koen district of Minato, Tokyo, Japan. At 333 metres (1,093 ft), it is the second-tallest structure in Japan.
