Ranking of traditional Japanese sweets “Dorayaki”
Nihon Keizai Shimbun announced the ranking of traditional Japanese sweets “Dorayaki”. Dorayaki is a type of Japanese confection, а red bean pancake which consists of two small pancake-like patties made from castella wrapped around a filling of sweet Azuki red bean paste.
Kameju of the 1st place establishes a store before the slant of Asakusa Kaminari-mon. It is a popular store which will continue from foundation for 90 years and outside which a line is. Kameju’s dorayaki is fascinated by the size.
Bunmeido of the 2nd place manufactures dorayaki which employed the process of sponge cake efficiently. It roasted finely puffily. It is perfect to exchange of presents for since inside packing is gorgeous golden color.
Rokunin-shu of the 3rd place is the brand which six craftsmen who were excellent in technology started in the long-established store Japanese-sweets store “Kitaya”. Dorayaki also gives a Western taste.
